Saturday 6th February (revised date!) Winter walk in the Malverns. Away from the summer crowds the Malverns have a special charm. The walk will probably be about 8 miles in length. We'll see what the weather's like on the day. There will be some steepness but we'll be well away from field mud. The first and last mile will be in Great Malvern. Packed lunch recommended. I hope to offer a pub option (for drinks, crisps, hot chocolate, etc). There will be a cafe available at the end, too. Meet outside Great Malvern railway station for an 11.00 start. Postcode WR14 3AU. OS Explorer 190, Landranger 150. There are plenty of train connections to suit the start time and provide flexibility for a walk finish time. Leader is Tim.
